Liftking Webbing Slings 2,000kg
Liftking 2,000kg Duplex Webbing Sling, 1m to 12m EWL
The Liftking 2,000kg / 2 tonne duplex webbing sling is one of the most commonly used polyester lifting slings for general industrial lifting. With a 2,000kg working load limit, reinforced becket eyes and a 7:1 factor of safety, it is a reliable option for fabrication, plant maintenance, construction work, workshop handling and routine site lifting.
This flat woven duplex web sling is manufactured from 100% polyester and colour coded green for quick WLL identification. It provides a softer lifting surface than chain or wire rope, helping reduce the risk of marking or damaging finished, painted or machined components. Each sling is manufactured to EN1492-1:2000, certified to TUV and GS standard, and supplied with a certificate of conformity.
Common Uses for a 2 Tonne Webbing Sling
This 2 tonne webbing sling is ideal for engineering workshops, maintenance teams, fabrication companies, contractors and riggers lifting machinery, steelwork, frames, plant components and general equipment. It is a strong all-round lifting strop for everyday industrial use.
Typical applications include machinery handling, lifting fabricated assemblies, moving workshop equipment, positioning plant components and lifting loads where a chain sling may be too aggressive on the load surface. The flexible polyester webbing helps spread pressure across the load and makes the sling easy to position during rigging.
Lifting Hitches and Capacity Guidance
Straight Lift
Suitable for vertical lifting up to the rated WLL shown on the sling label.
Basket Hitch
Can be used where the load is properly supported and balanced. Always refer to the sling label and lifting chart before use.
Choke Hitch
Can reduce the working capacity of the sling. Check the sling label, lifting plan and correct hitch factor before use.
LOLER Inspection and Safe Use
Under LOLER, webbing slings are lifting accessories and should be thoroughly examined by a competent person every 6 months, unless a written examination scheme specifies a different period. A pre-use visual check should also be completed before each lift.
Inspect the sling for cuts, abrasion, damaged stitching, chemical attack, heat damage, knots, crushed areas, pulled fibres and missing or illegible labels. Do not use a damaged sling. Use edge protection where the load has corners, sharp edges or abrasive surfaces.
